2004 was our "maiden voyage" year and we held all meeting4dinner evenings at Barrys Bistro, which has sadly now closed its' doors. This year we are branching out to new venues! It has never been the intention of meeting4dinner to create a regular singles tour of Aberdeen restaurants, however it is nice to ring the changes, therefore we have been working on securing half a dozen good restaurants, with reputable reputations, to take the evenings to. Thus, so far I have secured dates at various venues, which will all be listed below.
LA LOMBARDA, Castlegate, Aberdeen This is one of the most established Italian restaurants in the city, and you are always guaranteed a warm welcome and good wholesome Italian cuisine. Whatever your favourite, you are bound to find it here along with a cosy ambience and first class Italian red wine! THE STAGE DOOR, North Silver Street, Off Golden Square, Aberdeen. The Stage Door restaurant has the most amazing art deco style, wonderful food and unsurpassable service. It is the type of place you will return to time after time. meeting4dinner are delighted to be holding evenings at the Stage Door and look forward to many a happy evening there this year. THE ROYAL CHINA, Holburn Street, Aberdeen This Chinese restaurant has a fabulous menu jam packed with all your favourites. The food is excellent, as is the service and ambience. The Royal China also has a branch in Peterculter which is equally as popular. It is owned and run by David Fong and his family, therefore you can always expect a first class meal and Chinese eating experience.
