meeting4dinner was created out of frustration at the difficulty in meeting other single people within the normal environs, in Aberdeen city. Aberdeen hosts a magnitude of bars and clubs, however it can be difficult if this is the only way to meet other single people. Plus not everyone enjoys the pub and club scene.
meeting4dinner felt that once over the age of 30, meeting other people for a sociable drink accompanied by dinner, would be a really nice and enjoyable way to try to meet someone special. Thus meeting4dinner was born. Set up in April 2004, the first event was held in May 2004, now with a good base of people regularly attending to achieve an ideal mix of single people.
meeting4dinner is run out of office hours and is not profit focused. There are no joining or affiliation fees whatsoever.
